Sydney Astrologer Marc Laurenson
My passion for astrology goes back as far as I can remember. As a child school art projects often involved astrological themes and a ‘Star Sign’ book was always my favourite reading material.
In early adulthood I learned that we are not just our Sun Signs but a ‘chart’ that collects energy from all the planets in our solar system.
A major breakthrough occurred during my studies and research which reinforced a personal belief, that the natal chart is an evolutionary journey.
From there I began embracing psychological astrology as well, incorporating mind, body and spirit.
I honed my craft with the late Parampara Hughes learning to incorporate the art of feeling and living a chart gaining the hands on experience I needed.
In the end my favourite astrology teacher of all ended up being life itself. I found just living my own story and observing astrology as it played out in others lives, gave me a fuller richer understanding of this amazing science.
It’s the teachings of ‘life’ that now propel my practice.
Marc is a professional astrologer in Sydney, Australia. He conducts chart readings, classes, lectures and workshops in Sydney and interstate. Marc is the co-principal and resident teacher at the Sydney Astrology School, a guest teacher at Nature Care College and the resident Astrologer for online lifestyle magazine SuperLiving. Marc has the FAA Diploma in Astrology and was presented with the Gold Medal for Excellence as well as both the Allan Johnson Award and the Doris Greaves Award by the Federation of Australian Astrologers.
